I like the kind of warranty that is time specific. When I buy a computer I normally get a three-year warranty. It gives me peace of mind knowing that whatever problems develop in the first three-years will be fixed free of charge. There is also Discus software for first article report. My experience so far is that some computers I bought really didn’t need much support: just a telephone call or two for the whole warranty time, and one computer would have cost me three times the price of the warranty to repair the computer; if there was no warranty. So overall, I got what I paid for. No more and no less.
