Last winter I was trying to gingerly walk across an icy sidewalk. Much of the ice had melted but there were still slippery patches here and there. As I moved to avoid one patch of ice, my foot inadvertently landed on another. My foot went out from under me, but somehow I managed to stay standing. The trouble I had to twist my body to remain upright — and that twisting all occurred in my back.

The next day I couldn’t get out of bed. My wife immediately called a St Charles Chiropractic Center and they got me right in. It took treatments every other day for two weeks before I was back to normal.
